But the structure and presentation of this information is not always designed with the end user in mind. <\/p>\n\n<p>That&#8217;s why we created an app that brings this information to people simply, quickly and clearly.<br\/><br\/><strong>What was the goal?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>We wanted to create a tool that helps people to follow the activities of the Riigikogu and where it is easy to find and understand the data.<br\/><br\/><strong>What does the app do?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Displays the attendance of members and political groups at meetings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shows votes and participation in different drafts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Brings out how much each member has spoken and asked questions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visualises activity with clear graphs and tables<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Allows you to filter data by time period and fraction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And much more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>All data come from official sources and are updated regularly.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Technical solution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The application is built on top of Angular to ensure speed and a smooth user experience on both mobile and PC.<br\/>The Java server runs in the background, pulling data from the open API of the Riigikogu.<\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>See the app <a href=\"http:\/\/riigikogustatistika.ee\/en\">here<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Riigikogu publishes a lot of useful information about its work &#8211; votes, attendances, speeches, bills and other statistics.
